think we're in for a massive storm,we got some wicked lightening going on at the mo,just running round finding torches and candles!

We have just had one hell of a storm here, its running down the road like a river! 

We've just had some massive flashes of lightning here too. Could get interesting!!

sash is fine with storms,just freaks with fireworks  .the sky has just been knocked out and looks like a river flowing down the road,rosie your in hampshire so it must be heading your way.

Yes I think it must be! We're in Basingstoke so if it's heading north we'll be in the line of fire. It bucketed down earlier, almost like a monsoon! And now it's windy and rainy and I can hear distant thunder!

its well cool.really going for it!!the whole sky just seems to be lite up.

We've had a lot of rain past couple of days, but no thunder/lightning. We've got that to come, I suppose!

I just love watching them, and will sit in the rain to do so. Something so forceful about them!

Love storms too. We had a few thunderstorms at weekend but nothing special. On sunday morning at 8am though we got hit by a gust of wind and rain that was constant for around 5 mins which then just stopped was well weird. Hope we get the storms tonight as I love going to sleep listening to them

The rain fell, amazing! Sat on the doorstep and watched, even Moo joined me lol! Just love freak weather and that certainly was!

Thunder and lightning storms here too (north Hampshire) with downpours. Seem to have eased off now - haven't stuck my head outside to look!

Never known it like this in October before. Well weird but strangely calming

2nd stage just started here,raining like mad!

Lol this is nuts what the hell is going on... just had a few massive thunder claps roll around the hills. Sounds like abig one if we are all experiencing this at same time

It lasted a couple of hours here and I was working in it!!!! Getting frankie to have a wee was a military operation!!
