I know that people with goldfish ponds don't like them, but they're only following their natural instincts.
We have a heron who visits the little river behind my house and I often see him there, or flying around. Also a white egret. I love seeing them, every single time.

I like to see these too, we have them in our country park and I often see them in the mornings when out with Rocky. They do make a strange sound too, I always think they have a prehistoric look to them.
