Oh my god...

Imagine the scene...
There's me, serenely making dinner, measuring out a few handfuls of pasta to go with the bolognese sauce I've just made.
All of a sudden, my delightful OH appears at my shoulder out of nowhere and says "I LOVE YOU" rather loudly in my ear.
Not only did I scream the bleeding house down, I jumped so much that the pasta I was holding in my right hand and some from the bag in my left hand was THROWN all over the kitchen counter top and floor...
Which preceded a mad scrabble for the pasta on the floor while fighting Bruno to stop him eating it.
Why am I in love with this man??
