Grrrrr!

Basically our boiler is broken, we have no heating but we DID have hot water... Up until the gas man came to take a look at the boiler. He said its f***ked, you need a new one. Then turned it off because apparently we have an immersion heater "that's electric so you'll still have hot water"

Well we don't!!

Partner rang our property manager this morning to tell them... She didn't seem too fussed and said they'll get someone out to do a quote. Too b***dy right you will! Think she'd be acting a bit faster if it was her without heating or hot water don't you?!
I've told my OH that if it doesn't get fixed and it gets colder we're going to stay at my mums until it's done and we'll claim back any rent for the days we weren't using the house, seen as they're supposed to provide a safe place to live and if it's freezing cold it's not!!

Poor old Bruno and I are snuggled up with blankets in the mean time... Waiting for the all important phone call.

   

Oh dear Rosie, this just isn't good enough is it, they are supposed to provide you with these services and they are not, I would be sending a rather terse letter to the landlord.

Is the immersion heater switched on, you should be able to switch between this and the other heating option you have there - the boiler.

Hope it all gets sorted for you very soon

Now they've called my partner... Not me even though they have my number and I'm the one at home... And said they're sending a plumber round to check the immersion heater. No time scale, no interest in what I'm doing today.

I don't have a dog to walk, or a job to go to, or the grocery shopping to do... Nope! F**king b****rds!!

What a nightmare, that is just not good enough  I hope you get sorted out by the end of the day, in the meantime  xx

Plumber has just turned up. Thinks the immersion heater is f**ked too. Would have been nice to know that when it was looked at the other day!!

Funny thing though... The plumber's name is Bruno!
