Not creepy as such but being black and white it does give a certain atmosphere to them

yea that wasn't an good one we had a photo of my mum grand grand grand grandma on our landing it used to creep me out her eye look like they was following you up and down the stair

Isn't the thing with portraits that if the eyes are in the exact centre of the picture it gives the effect that the eyes are following you?

Thats it Jules, one eye must be in the direct centre of the picture to give the effect that they are following you around the room, very creepy
