Did you have one of these in the front room

No but have seen them and I want! classic  

Not quite like that but we did have something similar I think, can't remember exactly what it looked like now!

My Uncle had one, he called it a 'radiogram'

my grand grandad used to have one of these and i can remember every sunday dinner when we was around there we had to listen to some proper old skool music  the days  in my family we never throw away or replace anything that was not broken.

We used to call ours a Radiogram too Claire so maybe that was a NE thing , saw this on an bygones FB page and set off some memories but when I googled radiogram didn't find anything relevant ( maybe I spelt it wrong last night too as I was extremely .... ahem .... tired lol

I remember being dead proud sitting in the front room at about 9 ish years listening to my first album Showaddywaddy - Crepes and Drepes , had this album still when I was 25 years old and breaking up the marital home , the OH didn't want to take it and I could not give it away for love nor money    

I remember Showaddywaddy too. I liked 'Under the Moon of Love' . We had a ' Music Centre'. Looked a bit like this

We didn't have one - couldn't afford it!

With my first work Christmas Bonus I bought myself a music centre, though!
