Hi I'm a newbie

Hello, I'm Ang and have the most gorgeous staffy pup ever (know we all think that) ha ha.
He's now 10 months old and called Samson, I'm his second owner and he didn't have a great start in life. I'm 56 and look after my Mum who is 76 and has dementia, I live with her to look after her. She has other physical problems but nothing life threatening or restricting, all managed with medication. We both love Samson very much. He has helped her be happy again, when she has little to enjoy in life now.
I take Samson out for about an hour at a time, at least twice a day and sometimes three times. He has a mind of his own off his lead, so I've stopped letting him off for now. I do hope that one day I can trust him to be off his lead again and give him the life I'd like to give to him though.
Being honest, I knew he would be a strong and hot headed puppy, but also knew he would be the most loving dog ever! My son has a 4 year old staffy and I've always adored them since I got to know Charlie. I soon realised that they are fantastic with babies, children and the elderly, as though they know not to be too rough, they are such sensitive dogs I've found.
Anyway, if you've read so far, thank you for reading. I hope to get the community more.
