Chirpy Chirpy Empty Chirpy Chirpy

Post by Kathy Mon Oct 07 2013, 19:52

I just open up the back door only to be met with a strange chirpy noise coming from the corner of our yard. Swiftly shut the door again as I know we have bats in the area and don't want Rocky to get hold of it if it is one. Will send hubby out there in a minute when he has finished his bath.

If it was a bat you must have fantastic earsight - their squeaks are normally beyond human hearing range.

Maybe it was a squirrel?

Yes bats are lovely. My son's earliest memory is of me holding him in my arms (he was about 2 or 3) and showing him the bats flying about in the sky. I remember it too; it's a lovely shared memory.

oooo not fond of bats - and we have loads! We also have lots of little birdies around at the minute who are building their spring nests - one has built the nest under our patio, and there are eggs in it...and two staffies who know where it is...I feel like I'm on constant guard I dont want to s

Hope whatever it is doesn't come back for Rocky to spot!
