thought we'd learnt a new trick and then...

So, I got home from work last night and decided I was going to teach Axl to "find" using treats. Anyway it went brilliantly, I'd ask him to sit and wait and he would, i'd hide the treat and then tell him "find" and he'd happily go off and search for his treat sounding very much like a piggy snuffling around. He loved it, all waggy tails and happy with himself when he found the treat, I was so happy lol, I called the OH telling Axl i'm calling daddy to tell him how great you are! I explained to my OH that Axl had learnt to "find", he wasn't too impressed, reckoned it was fluke! This morning I made the OH sit on the sofa so I could show him what Axl had learnt... I made Axl sit and wait in the kitchen, all was going well so I snuck off to sneakily hide the treat, hid it, turned around.. annnnnnnnnnnd Axl was right behind me watching me hide it /facepalm.... he's such a cheat!!!!

Tonight he is going to play "find" with some ham with no cheating..

On the plus side he does know what "kisses" means and that cheers me up no end lol

haha he did sneak up on me, my OH thinks I made the whole thing up! The kisses thing is lovely i'll have to get a video of it, I tap my mouth and say "kiss" and no matter where he is he'll come charging over tail wagging and either headbutt me by accident or give me a kiss, love that dog lol  

Oh Axl letting Mummy down, they certainly know how to play us.
