Yes, best to walk away. Some people are just out to do our heads in!

Making sure our dogs are well behaved on and off lead is hard work and yet it is worth it. Best is to ignore the ignorants and keep up with the training and walks. Those people are not worth the energy to get worked up about.

Re: god some dog owners do my head in!
I had an old bloke walking his dog poke a stick at Roxey to keep her away from his dog, I asked why he did that as she is a friendly girl who loves to play with other dogs, he turned round and still poking his stick at her and said someone else said their dog was friendly and it bit his dog,I told him Roxey was playing once and the other dog just turned round and bit her, when I got home she had got 2 slashes down her throat, so even though she is a Staffy doesn't make her vicious , had to walk off as Rox couldn't understand why someone was poking at her with a stick, I really felt for her.
But still it upsets me that people judge before they get to know the dog >=P
