My new stick insect eggs! (pics)

They'll be about 1 cm long when they hatch Ickle bitty stickies! They'll grow to about 10 cm!

Also how much did you pay if you dont mind my asking? the ones i see are £15, so wondered if thats the same people

I'm not sure I'll be able to tell them apart, but the names I have so far are:

Sticky (of course)
Twiggy
Woody
Barky
Leafy

I want them to be stick-related, so they're not very original, but that's what I have so far. I was only prepared for five or six stickies, so I have to think of three more.

The stick insect kit (enclosure, instructions, etc..) was £11.82 from Amazon.

When that arrives, you get a voucher inside to redeem your stick insect eggs. You need to pay £2.99 for postage, I think, but you enter the code on their website and they send you the eggs.

Yeah i saw that one and i love the little enclouser but i already have a glass tank i want them in so was just gonna buy them on their own but thought that £15 was very expensive for just eggs!

The price of the eggs for me was probably included in the enclosure price, so I only had to pay postage for the actual eggs.

OMG I WANT A GIANT HISSING COCKROACH.

They're the best! I'm guessing you're doing the same thing I was - pouring through the site and gasping at all the silk worms, cockroaches and flutterby pavillions!

We had hissing roaches on my course! Every time I opened the enclosure door, it would sound like I was being screeched at by ten cats!

they aren't very exciting, they are dubia roaches for live feeders for the geckos and T

Ohhhh, right! Like the mealworm and locust prey trays you can get. Still fun to watch though!

Fun! We had locust and mealworm enclosures on my course, although I'd usually just get annoyed when I went over to them, because there were so many idiots going, "Nooo, they'll bite me! I don't want to touch them! Ewwww!" On an animal course.

Sounds weird, but I love holding them! They feel so funny when they wiggle around on your hand!
