Well, you may have read how flipping awful she is on lead.A disgrace...that's what she was.
Well...today Skyla got A HARNESS! I'm jumping for joy! She is a changed doglette. We walked the street, the park....the next street...saw a police car and lorry taking a car away so went up that road...and back round again.
She didn't pull at all! I'm so made up for her (and me) we can go on looooong walkies now Big Grin

I have a love hate relationship with these posts.
I'm loving the fact that harnesses seem to work amazingly well for other owners, then I hate the fact they don't work with Molly... At all, but good for you for finding something that works on Skyla!

Nice one!
Harness didn't work for me either.
Plus it took me about 7 months to get Blue to start to realise what I wanted when I said heel. He milked about 200 tins of hot dogs off me pretending to try and learn that command. Not to sure he is that thick now I come to think about

It's really good.I understand it doesn't work for all dogs and it's not like i put on the harness and she thinks 'ohhhh,harness...don't pull!'
She does,or she tries to but she can't,if you get what i mean? Makes a world od difference for me Smile

The only harness that works for Dempsey is one that has a lead ring on the back and the chest. That way I have control of the front half of his body.

Either that or I have to use a harness and a collar, which rather defeats the object!

I always use a double-ended lead, anyway.
