anyone know much about whisky?
I'm a Famous Grouse fan myself but received this bottle as a gift and can't find a single bit of info on it!

Looks like a blend to me. You need to have a 'wee dram' to test it

There's not much story on the label or dates - just "stuart and james rare light whisky...produce from finest malt and grain whiskies..."

My Irish granny got me onto Scotch Johnnie Walker seems to be big here, can't get Grouse in the restaurants

From 10 years in pubs its not one I have seen this way, and I can't find anything out about it either.
