Guess who's in my bed!

And before anybody says what they're thinking, get your mind out of the gutter!

Dempsey managed to climb onto my bed literally a minute after mum left for work. I'd gone to the bathroom and closed my door this time, but apparently he knows how to open it. Looked around for him afterwards, thinking he might be doing something naughty, then realised that he was in my bedroom, glaring at me from the bed.

He climbed back down and went to sleep on the floor, which was fine. But just now, I went to get some lunch. Heard a big thump, went back into my bedroom and he was stretched out on the bed with his head on my pillow. So now I'm squished up at the end of the bed by the window with only a tiny bit of blanket to keep me warm!

lol and they do the dead weight thing when you try and move them lil sods. a strategically placed treat at the other side of the bed may help  

I tried that. He didn't even open his eyes! The only thing that would move him is a Dentastix, and he'd leave a slobbery mess all over my blanket if I did that!

I love the dead weight trick They just flop around like little fishes and give you the sad, pathetic eyes.

Little swine  All I can see of him is a big, snoring lump under the blanket! A couple of paws sticking out of the end, but that's all

I had a strange feeling this may happen, you've created a monster  Rocky loves nothing more than getting on our bed for snuggles and he will also lay there with his head on my pillow then roll onto his back for tummy tickles

Nah, he hopped off when mum came home from work, thankfully!

I don't think I'll be able to stop him from doing this now  

your right, he's gonna up there hogging the bed each day now  
wake up, fetch drink, return to bedroom to notice 4 paws poking out from under the sheets  

I suppose I could allow it sometimes. Only during the day though. If he tries it during the night, he's getting kicked right back out!

Oy! I wasn't in bed! I was on my bed - there's a difference!  I don't leave Demps alone in my bedroom, in case he hurts himself or tries to eat something.

He doesn't need to be in my room for that

Once they get up there once there is no turning back  

He's fast asleep on the sofa right now, so I'm safe at the moment
