Dogz & Catz

Anybody remember these PC games? You could get either Dogz or Catz, but if you got them together it was Petz. You could adopt a dog or cat and look after it. I used to love it when I was little!

It was the first game I ever played on the computer. I adopted a little Persian cat called Eleanora!  Then cried because my brother painted her head red and I couldn't figure out how to get it back to normal.

Molly has something similar on ds she's had it about 5/6 years its called nintendogs, she's got Gabriella Labrador that she has to groom, walk, feed, do agility, clean up after and buy houses for she still loves it now.

Yes, I remember those! I also remember the keyring thingys - was never very good at them!

I don't remember any of those  

I've given in to nostalgia and ordered Dogz and Catz 5 from eBay...  

I think the one Dave mentioned was a Tamagotchi, I went through several of those when they were out:

Looked it up just now. I probably would have been about 8/9 when they were popular.

1996 they came out

I'm looking at the wrong one then. Explains why I've never heard of it. I was still using colouring books back then!

 

Can remember them but I was a tad too old to be playing with one!

 I think I must have been about five/six when I started playing Petz! Still self-centred enough to name my little Persian kitty after me. Mum used to allow me and my brother fifteen minutes each before school to feed and play with our pets so that they didn't run away.
