Vinny's a bit odd today!

Think he's being a teenager and he is struggling with the heat.

Firstly, they had raw frozen fish tonight (a new fish they haven't had before) and he usually will give a growl at Roxy if she comes near him when he's eating (he's always done this and we continue to work on it) but tonight he gave a mighty growl and bark. Roxy likes to squeal when she's being bossy so she did so and they had a quick shouting match - nothing major. Their usual after dinner zoomies were a bit rougher than usual but we were supervising.

Then, he was sat on the sofa with me breathing really heavy - think he was getting very hot again. Gave him some ice blocks.

Then, he got up, hackles up, eyes wide and started growling and going off like never before (Roxy kept coming over to lick and nibble him to pacify). I hope we don't have a ghost that was worrying him!   He settled on my lap but his eyes remained wide.

I took him outside for a play and to fill up his shell pool and he had a cool down and all seems better - he's fast asleep now.

Odd little man. Love him to bits!

Bless him! Could be that his sharp little ears picked up something yours didn't Might have annoyed him!

Likely - it seems oddly noisy tonight as it is.

Janey, it's reached the 30s here already and is 20 degrees now. Master Vin does suffer in the heat. Bet the walk was refreshing in a jumper

i say def the heat is getting to him,and if thats not bad enough Tobys spooking him too!

A little oddball  He was fine the next day, but I think he was the best hearing in the house as last night he started growling and barking at what seemed like nothing to the rest of us - our little protector

He's such a luvbug - can't sleep without his mummy. Last night he lay with his head on my neck and stretched out next to me while Rox cuddled my feet
