Toned up
Molly strained a muscle in her back leg a little while ago, she got checked out at the vets and we were told on lead walks and it would probably take up to 6 weeks to heal completely. During this time you could tell that her muscles were becoming less defined and generally decreased in size etc
Now that she is back to full strength we have been playing fetch loads again and walking her off lead, her muscle tone is increasing by the day. I'm so imrpessed at the speed she has regained her fitness levels!

Re: Toned up
Been there a few times, the first week or two (depending on the injury) are soooooo worrying with them limping around and just not themselve's ... but yeh, once they're over the worst, they can heal pretty quickly, but it really is up to you how successfull the healing is as I'm sure your aware ... Max would break a leg and still want to run and jump around like a mentalist
Most of the effort in excercising/working a fit stafford is managing their own safety IMO, as if Max shows any evidance of being hurt in any way ... its already too late, the damage is done ... we have to watch him like a hawk when he's on a good excercise sesh
Glad hear Molly is all mended
