R.I.P. Beau
had a really bad shock today as my friends puppy which iv seen every single day had to be put to sleep yesterday dinnertime (Saturday) she was only 5and half months old .
she had a fit on Friday night and my friend rushed her to emergency vets where she was giving a shot to stop her fitting and was giving blood tests and my friend was told she likely had epilepsy which could most likely be controlled with meds but sadly she had a massive seizer early sat morning and lost her hearing and sight and lost the movement of her limbs so my friend rushed to morning vet surgery again this morning and was told by blood in her ears and bulging of her eyes could have been a aggressive rapid growing brain tumer and recommended PTS well he got the results of the autopsy a couple hours ago and was confirmed she had a golf ball sized tumer on her brain stem
run free beau tyson and buster will look after you

Poor little girl; so young and far too soon to go to Rainbow Bridge.
Brain tumours are so vicious, poor Beau had no chance and was given the kindest release.
Run free and happy at Rainbow Bridge, little one.

Re: R.I.P. Beau
the breeder rang my friend on Saturday to find out how it was going and was devastate at the news he has offered a replacement from any of the forcoming litters (approx 16 to 20 weeks time ) as they take responsibility for all there pups against heredatory or terminal problems in the first 12 months .
so may be some puppy light at end of the tunnel
but my friends in two minds as he dont want to be seen as replacing beau and looking like he just forgot about her

Re: R.I.P. Beau
Warren, what a caring breeder.
I think your friend should consider this generous offer, particularly if Tyson is still moping and missing a companion.
I'm sure no-one would think for a minute that Beau was just replaced and forgotten - she's left a hole in your friend's life and no-one should blame him for filling it.
Wishing your friend comfort, whatever he decides .....

Re: R.I.P. Beau
My condolences for the loss.
I would take the breeder up on their kind offer. We don't forget those that pass but a new pup helps with the massive void and hole left in your life and heart.
I felt terrible, like I was trying to replace Tim or was being disloyal to what he meant to me when my hubby suggested we take Tip.
It turned out to be a good choice.
R.I.P little girl. Run free and don't worry Tim will make sure you don't get bullied
