Here's Woody pup (sorry pic heavy)
Heres some pics of my puppy Woody hes im told around 11/12wks old (i will have to go work that out!) im not sure if he looks like a pure or not going by some of the really chunky block headed pups ive seen at his age but i met his mum and dad who were friendly and lovely. Mum looked a bit out of condition with her coat but i guess thats to be expected and dad was stunning a real rich colour and he was quite big...stocky with a gorgeous blocky head. I thought nothing of Woody being full staffy till i put his pic on a facebook staffy site and was told he looked like a mix so thats what has made me unsure...hes really cute and lovely anyway so here he is make your own mind up
So sorry so many ive taken so many pics already i couldnt choose!

Aww he's beautiful never apologise for pics, there can never be to many, we love them he looks staffy to me, do remember that until he's stopped growing at 2 ish then you won't really know what he's going to look like staffy's go through some really strange looking growing phases all ears and legs at times, so my advice would be just enjoy him, oh and take & share lots oh pics

Re: Here's Woody pup (sorry pic heavy)
Hi thanks for lovely replies im glad you like him as much as we do. No it really doesnt matter at all if hes full staffy or a cross but im just curious at what people here think. I dont actually doubt the woman well i didnt until someone else made a comment that he was a cross and my immediate response was NO hes not!!! Because like i said i met mum and dad and stroked them and seen pics of the pups with mum and dad through facebook so as far as im concerned hes full staff but i would rather not look stupid if im going round telling people (who ask!) hes a full staff if its obvious to "staffy" people that he is def not! Hes lovely and i dont care its just a bit annoying i find not knowing what it is you have...but then i wasnt doubting till someone else commented.

To be honest, I wouldn't take much notice of those people on Facebook who have a staffy site, just because they have a staffy site doesn't make them experts

Re: Here's Woody pup (sorry pic heavy)
Ahhh thanks everyone im glad you all like him..sounds stupid but when you put a pic on a site you kind of expect people to say ahh hes nice and if they dont like him to just not comment really so even though he wasnt saying he wasnt nice just kept asking me questions about the parents etc and saying he thought nearly absolutely sure that his mum has some pittbull in her! I never actually asked for one and another thing i kept saying i didnt care i saw mum and dad and they were nice friendly attractive dogs but the way it was being put was as if he isnt good enough. Which i can tell you he is...he is the happiest pup with the waggliest happy bum we all are quite smitten lol. I only asked you lot here because i didnt want to be going around with everyone asking me what he is and me answering staffy if he very obviously looked like a cross. But i think he looks staffy just not got the chunky head yet. Oh btw the person telling me hes a cross was a breeder close to me who then started showing me pics of his latest litter of blue pups etc. Anyway i will be putting more pics on soon! I also have a lab x and a shih tzu so they may pop up in some of the pics too as they like playing together- Woody played a bit too rough for my shih tzu to start off and i panicked thinking i couldnt keep him because they were almost fighting but ive managed to stop the playing before it gets to that point now and Woody is already learning to play more gentle so im really pleased! Waffling on now sorry!!

Re: Here's Woody pup (sorry pic heavy)
He's a cracking looking little fella to me , when you get a pup you are really in the hands of other people and their honesty , Mum and Dad may be Mum and Dad , he may have a different Dad , who knows ?? I assume you didn't get any papers for him so based on this I guess you didn't pay a massive price ?? If this is the case then you have what you have , obviously if you thought you had been wronged and paid for a fully papered and health tested staffy pup and thought you had something different then that is the time to be concerned.
Your boy looks staffy to me , if there is any cross there it could just be showing up from the parents heritage , who knows , and who really cares
Just out of interest this breeder you talk about with the blue pups , do you happen to know if both parents are blue ?? If they are then you might like to point out to them that they are a crap breeder that doesn't know their * from their elbow ( just a little petty revenge but works for me )
And ....erm more pictures please and maybe a little video of that waggiest bum
As fars as the FB sites if people can't say nice things then don't say anything . We are a very unprejudiced forum that love staffys , staffy x , bully breeds , bully breed x's , in fact if its got 4 legs and somebody looks down their nose at it , they are always welcome on here. We have 1 or 2 people that breed , 1 or 2 that show dogs , many with past experience of these things , but we don't come here because of that we come here because its full of nice people that aren't staffy snobs and have lots of knowledge and experience

Ahh thank you i think hes a cracking lad too yes we did get him without any papers but i do think the parents seen were actually his parents he looks the spitting image of his dad only his dad was huge lol. The litter was planned mainly i think so they could keep one of the pups, the dad of pups was the girls mums dog so it might actually have been an accident but i know they were wanting to keep one. Both dogs were really friendly and i have pictures of both because the lady wanted to stay in touch by facebook so she could watch lil man grow and make sure he was ok, i think she was quite upset to see him go actually because he was the last one to leave. I dont think hes a cross i wouldnt expect him to be show type lol from just two staffys some people put together but hes gorgeous in my eyes and im so happy you all can see that too so thank you!
