130 car pile up
Wow! What a crash. No fatalities thankfully but there are seriously injured people.

I think it's bloody disgusting! Once again, idiot drivers aren't taking any notice of bad weather conditions & causing mayhem. Most drivers, apparently, were driving in thick fog without any lights on at all!
Whilst I feel sorry for the injured, I feel much more sorry for the people who now have to sort it all out.

Yeah! I get really annoyed when people dont have lights on in rain or fog esp when they have silver cars which are totally invisible in those conditions. i always had lights on in my KA cause it was invisible and frankly KA just crumble into nothing when hit. im a bit more visible now in a bright yellow car lol

Re: 130 car pile up
When my oh used to drive artics, he was always seeing things like this. One occasion he was driving on the motorway (the M4?) in thick fog at about 20mph. Cars were shooting past him at 70mph or more!
He had his window open to help visibility, and suddenly started to hear muffled thumps coming from in front. He pulled onto the hard shoulder & got out, climbed the bank & sat at the top. All the time he could hear louder & louder crashes as car after car piled into the ones in front.
A police car stopped & asked if he was ok & after assuring them that he was, the policeman came & sat next to him saying that there was little he could do until the traffic behind had been stopped. It was one of the most frightening things he's experienced driving (apart from the armed police in Northern Ireland, but that's a different sory!).

Re: 130 car pile up
it's awful people just don't pay attention to conditions, I regularly get over taken in bad weather, people flying past still doing daft speeds, no wonder there are accidents

When I saw this on the news I couldn't believe that no one had been killed. Idiots driving with no lights on in fog again.
