Nice car Hayley! Lemon drop kid.
Wouldn't those eyelashes you can get these days look fantastic on her?

Why do they lock up cars after you purchase them? Over here we normally drive it off the lot at the time of purchase.

Re: New car :D
yes it can be annoying sometimes you need to wait almost a week before getting your car by the time they valet service and tax your vehicle plus there not allowed to release a car until proof of insurance is in placeBen wrote:Why do they lock up cars after you purchase them? Is the Insurance one a new rule Wazza ??? I've bought a couple of cars from dealers but as long as 20 years ago now and don't recall being askedWarren wrote:yes it can be annoying sometimes you need to wait almost a week before getting your car by the time they valet service and tax your vehicle plus there not allowed to release a car until proof of insurance is in placeBen wrote:Why do they lock up cars after you purchase them? Re: New car :D
Geez. We just have to give proof of liability ins within 10 days and we pay the tax/registration at time of sale. I think we get pushed to drive away same day as here the deal isn't complete and can be canceled by the buyer until it is physically driven off the lot even if money is all paid. Waiting a week after purchase would be painful!

Re: New car :D
has been for about 4/5 years now thats why most dealers will give you 7 days insurance to try and speed it upDave wrote:Is the Insurance one a new rule Wazza ??? saying that small garages dont always stick to this as they dont want to risk loosing a sale

Didn't know that one but as said before I've not bought a car now for a good few years , makes sense though and takes a few stupid people out of the wayWarren wrote:has been for about 4/5 years now thats why most dealers will give you 7 days insurance to try and speed it upDave wrote:Is the Insurance one a new rule Wazza ???
