Surprised Hook Farm campsite

Post by Guest Thu Aug 29 2013, 14:18

I saw this today if you look under camping it states that SBTs and a couple of other breeds are not allowed on the site. I am quite shocked at this, I will not be camping there banghead

Judging by the list of rules, it's a wonder anyone is welcome! It looks and sounds like a very boring place that has far to many rules and is owned/run by someone who really doesn't want anyone to have fun, bet they walk round with a tape measure and a loud hailer too Laughing Shame, could have been a nice place.

lol what a fun place that sounds... I wouldn't want to stay anywhere where "terms and conditions" take up more web space than the description of the site.

Been thrown off similar campsites for my bad behaviour before it even comes down to the dogs , when they put so many rules there its always going to be a no go for me

Rules wise I stopped somewhere with a lot more listed a few months back and it was perfect, a well maintained site and I liked the restrictions with no guests after a certain time and no vehicle movement between 10pm and 7am it meant it was peaceful and relaxing which is what I wanted. They were however 100% dog friendly only restrictions were that they had to be on a max 2m lead on site and must be cleaned up after oh and not allowed in the shower.

Be interested to see what their response is to why only the breeds listed are not permitted

so far sonic has been welcomed on all the camp sites we have been to, in fact on one trip other rained and the site warden took her off into his house for 'a nice dry by the fire, a cuddle and a rich tea biscuit' .........
