Re: exercise
Dear Ash, please for Bruno's sake listen to the advice you are given.
At 12 months old, a Staffie is roughly the equivalent of a 14 year old human in terms of growth. And no-one would try to make a 14 year old child put on massive muscle growth and strength, with eliminating as much body fat as possible to make those muscles defined. Bones are still growing at that age and have yet to settle into their adult configuration. Excess muscle may well pull those bones out of their intended natural place and poor Bruno would be crippled for life.

Re: exercise
Agree with above. Use a flirt pole sparingly, say 10 mins max until the dog is older. It should be a funway of tiring out the dog until its frame has set and natural muscle tone has set in. My boy stayed at 21kg for nearly a year and looked gangly. In the past 3 and a bit months he bulked naturaly and weighs in at 25.8 kg ( he is 2 on the 30th this month) I was suprised as I leaned him down for the summer and hes done next to no workouts because of the heat.
Just let him mature for and a bit and enjoy the fun play
