Why! Just why should you possibly need to remove the battery case, a selection of pipes and the battery before even being able to open the case to the headlights!

Yes, but now the new ones are even worse and some require removing the bumper cover as well. So you can feel better you didn't have to disassemble the entire front end to change the bulb!

It often seems that doing these little jobs are made as awkward as possible so you have to go along to a dealership and pay through the nose for the privalige. This is why I love the Morris Minor they are so simple.

The newer Volvo's and Focuses are a piece of cake, pull 2 long slide clips out from the top of the light and the whole headlight comes out, makes changing the bulb a breeze Big Grin
