Re: New Owner
Hi and welcome to the forum from Rocky and I!
Congrats on the new addition:)
I would take a look through as many forum links and asking as many questions you like, we are always here to help, or even just to hear of great progress, or the bad days!
In regards to training classes, it is entirely up to you whether or not you do, but I do personally recommend it, i found it a great help in just learning the little things and putting them into practice, if you do, i recommend doing research about a really good place near you
Here are a few links to help with pups just to get you started:

You can also visit our main website for more info under the 'basics for new owners' tab and 'health concerns' tab. Hope this helps!

Re: New Owner
Hi and welcome, gorgeous pup
I would suggest puppy classes, I rescued Ledger he was 2yrs and I still booked him for training. You can get all of the answers on here but the socialisation with other breeds and owners is invaluable

Re: New Owner
Hello everyone, turns out Ella was only six weeks when sold to us not seven as stated. Have been reading a lot about puppies being too young to leave the litter and also health problems associated with blues, little worried now but she is very good with sit, paw and lay down. Seems to be having trouble with nipping//biting but I assume this is because she is very young. Any tips to help curb this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Re: New Owner
Big hello from Chiquito and I
Six weeks is very young to have left mum, however what is done is done
Here is a link to help with the nipping/biting .... it is normal for all pups (especially our little staffy babies!), however because Ella is so young she will not have had the opportunity to learn bite inhibition with her mum and litter mates. For this reason, time and patience will just be extra important for you.

Remember to let us know if you have any more questions or need any advice .. we are more than happy to help out anywhere we can

Re: New Owner
Hello and welcome
I would say patience, perserverance and consistency are key... As already said your pup's bite inhibition won't have developed yet so with regards to this particular issue definitely be consistent and be prepared for those needles
If you have any questions feel free to post in the puppy chat area, someone will always be along with some advice.
She is very beautiful by the way
