Tip went for her second shots today
Tip went for her seconds shots today. Vet was impressed with her and best news ever the heart
murmer is gone. I'm reliefed about that!!!!!
I need advice about toys. Is there any appropiate toys for eight week old pups that she won't destroy in a short time. We do not have stag racks in SA

Re: Tip went for her second shots today
Awww yay!
My labradoodle who lives with my mum has a heart murmur. It was diagnosed when he was a puppy but it's never bothered him and I've never noticed any difference in him to his 'brother' Boris.
We pick up our puppy next Friday so will be after advice in toys too... Keeping my eyes on this thread

Re: Tip went for her second shots today
That's fantastic! So glad to hear her heart murmur is gone and that she is great health!
Im not too sure about what is available where you are, but if you have a look at this link it can give you an idea of what to get, and have a look at the puppy range at the store http://staffy-bull-terrier.com/toys_for_your_staffie

Re: Tip went for her second shots today
Thanks Maria. The link helped a lot. Its frustrating to get safe durable toys so I will be hunting for them. Wonder if I can get stag bars from overseas via internet. They sure look nice.

Re: Tip went for her second shots today
Aww Tip, you little What a brave boy! Fantastic news about the heart mummer being gone, I'm sure that's a relief! As far as toys, kongs are GREAT! You can stuff them will all kinds of stuff and then freeze it! It takes awhile for them to get everything out and keeps them occupied for about 20 minutes! Stag bars are also great although I have heard some dogs are uninterested in them! Gwen liked hers for awhile then she wanted nothing to do with it for about 2 weeks and now she seems to be interested in it again! Also when she starts teething you can take a tea towl and wet it, tie a knot, and freeze! Its a good cheap chew toy and the cold soothes their gums! You can also reuse it! Also frozen carrots and bananas are good for chewing!
