true tale from this weekend believe it or not - how far would you go?

me and my sister (also a staffy owner) took my mum out at the weekend along with my sisters partner. after a while we got onto a conversation (god knows how/why) about how important dogs are to their owners. However he started saying how no dog would ever be as important as another human being and a humans life should ALWAYS take precedence no matter who they were or if they were a stranger, you should always choose for the human to live over a mere animal. As you can imagine paedophiles etc were thrown into the mix and why would i choose a complete stranger over my furbaby but the man just wasnt budging on his pro human stance. My sister who lost one of her staffs last year just wouldnt agree with opinions and he stormed out.

Anyway she informs me today she cannot be with someone that a) cannot see how important her staff is in her life and b) cannot accept she has a different opionion to him so she has canned him! go sis!

well proud of her, her staff is 14 and still has a 1.5-2 hour walk everyday no matter what the weather - no way was he coming in between that!

Mmmmmm this is a hard one!!!!!! All my animals mean the world to me personal possesions dont come close and when they come to live with me its for as long as they live I would never sell or rehome any of my pets.
If I lost my home split with the hubby id find a way to keep them no matter what.
But for me a human life is precious and ive met the most evil people you can imagine but I still beleive the human race is superior to a animal.
Saying that Id never choose a man before a pet they would have to know were there position was take it or leave it. Smile

wooohooooooo go nicolalouises sis. I know where you are coming from, i recently did the same thing, b'f couldnt handle the amount of attention etc the dogs got, he was always wanting to go away for the weekend etc and i quote "just dump the dogs" was the last straw for me. Seeeeeeyaaaaaaa, muppet lol xxx

My son comes first, then the gruesome twosome then i might consider strangers

Ty first every time the amount of arguments I have had with Will over it he says I mother him and care more about Ty than him! If you dont like it mate dont let the door hit ya were the good lord split ya lol. If it ever came to a point were I had to choose between my family and Ty the only person that would win that battle would be my younger sister. I love my pooch too much I would happly spend the rest of my days just me and my Ty.
