Post by Andy Sat Aug 03 2013, 19:04

Just got from an afternoon out with the wife, went for a nice lunch, then on to a Red Kite feeding centre to watch the feeding time Big Grin  ... absolutely loved it (big fan of BOP), there was easily 80 - 100 Kites when the tracktor turned up with the meat Surprised ... gunna go to a differant one next time as there's a few in Wales day dreaming

Only downer, was that I was lookin forward to seeing Ravens feeding with them but there wasnt a single one Sad

I've seen them around my area and in Cambridgeshire too. They are becoming more popluar here now.

They are magnificent birds I love to see them. Also saw them when on holidays in Wales.

They're all wings and tail feathers, supprisingly lightweight for there size which is prob why they look so cool in flight Love Struck .. I was supprised to find out that they arent really even strong enuff to open a carcuss in the wild, preferring to wait untill the more powerfull birds like Buzzards and Ravens do the job Surprised

I'd never get tired of watching them day dreaming
