Quick question on food
So i have learnt that you can not mix raw (meat) food with standard dog dry food due to disgestive time rates, does this not apply when meat is cooked
And also im ashuming there is a difference between being able to mix fish such as sardines etc and raw eggs and mixing raw (meat) food with dry food.

Re: Quick question on food
I don't believe there would be any issue mixing cooked meat with dry food ( we often do this as a little treat for them ( sunday dinners etc) ) but best people to advise with the raw fish and stuff are people like Ella , StuW etc who are experienced raw feeders and Caryll , so hopefully 1 will be along soon to help you out

I cook mince to give Daisy with her dry food, cooked food, tinned fish etc is fine. Raw egg is also OK it's the raw meat that you can't mix with dry

Re: Quick question on food
Raw & dry have different digestion times, so they don't mix well. Cooked meat can be mixed with dry but not with raw, and cooked sardines can be added to dry, but not raw

Re: Quick question on food
That's fine because they are pre-cooked

Re: Quick question on food
yer tinned sardines are cooked so fine to add to kibble, Caryll means raw sardines and fish shouldn't be fed with kibble
