Hello from me and my new best friend

Hi all. I've just become the very proud owner (I'm worse than a new mum or so my friends are telling me) of a four year old rescue staff called Buster. I'm so pleased I've stumbled upon this forum as its a real mine of info and hopefully it means I can share all the details of my new friend without boring my friends to tears (I find it hard to believe they don't want to spend there afternoons chatting with me about how cute his snoring and snorting is!) We are just getting to know each other and he's settling in to our family amazingly well. We haven't had the pleasure of our own dog for many years so I have a few questions as I want to make sure we do the best for him now he has a forever home, I will try to put them in the correct sections but wanted to say hi first.

Thanks, I think so. He's a bit of a lump tho, had him weighed yesterday and he's a hefty 25 kg, hopefully with lots of exercise he will shed a few kilos (keeping my fingers crossed I do too!) I don't think he looks fat but then I'm biased.
