good walking area suggestions, cheshire/peaks/north west area

tomorrow is supposed to be overcast and cool, so i fancy getting out and about with Lola. any suggestions? cant be too far in a car as Lola isnt a huge travel fan (an hour tops ideally) and i'd prefer somewhere a little off the beaten track so she can have some decent off lead time

still deciding, it's not as overcast or cool as i thought it would be

settled on a small local lake, five minutes drive and not over crowded. even managed to get Lola to paddle!
