well at 3am
This morning...
At work me and Tina were pulled over by the police for the 17th time in a year. They followed us for ages before they did, but i think they are trying to tell us something
Starts with the usual get out of the car for them to start questioning about why we are out at this time in the morning, then you see it dawn on their face once they see the uniform.
Follows is a 10 minute natter about what we do, and it always ends with 'well i certainly couldn't do your job'
Bit of excitement at work for a change, got the lights and sirens as well eeepp

Maybe they're just kooks dressed as police officers, hoping to get your number.

I was just about to say the same thing! I was stopped once for no reason but in the middle of the day, I asked why and one of the coppers said" well you looked nice and we had nothing better to do!" what a ruddy cheek! Make sure Ella you have your hob nail boots on next time!!Caryll wrote:D'you think they fancy you?

We tend to attract attention no matter where we go.
Coppers sit with us in mcds, the night staff at asda all come over for a natter, security guards and bouncers always come over to say hello. P*ssed people knock on the window and ask if we are a taxi. We (well tina) get all the weirdos ask if they can share her coffee.
IT'S NEVER ENDING!

17 times in a year! You must be pulling over automatically as soon as you see the jam sandwich in your rear view mirror
I've had it a few times in the past when out and about for good reason in the early hours - get out the car, the other copper kicking my tyres etc. Trouble is, the police a) have often nothing better to do at that hour in the morning and b) think that if we are not safely tucked up in bed we must be up to no good. At 3am, you are guilty until proved innocent.

Re: well at 3am
I remember in my younger days getting followed and pulled over so I waited for them to leave and I followed them. After 20 mins they put the lights on and asked why I was following them I said I'm not you just keep going the same way as me and then sat and waited for them to pull away and after 10 mins of sitting there they got out and said right go away or I'll arrest you
