There are other ways, but photobucket give the best results for a forum. It looks complicated, but once you're used to it, it's ok!

To be honest for your avatar I find it best to save the image to your computer rather than photobucket, if you edit the photo to make it smaller, It needs to be less than 140 by 190, then upload an image from your computer, does that make sense? I'm not the best with technical stuff!! It took me ages to figure it out when I joined!!
