Good job the pilot didn't have to abort the landing and fire the jet engine up again, that would have hurt

they showboat alot out there. its my home county and there are loads of airbases. we used to go to coningsby and park near the runway for when the tornadoes used to come in and take off. when they hit the afterburners every cell in your body shakes. the best one i ever saw was at RAF waddington just outside lincoln when the Vulcan took its last flight. traffic lights stop the traffic as they taxi or land as it is so close to the road. on this day the pilot taxied to end of runway, applied his breaks and gave it some beans... pmsl i thought the box van in front of me was going to blow over it was shaking that much. it really does make the hair on the back of your neck stick up. and the smelll, oh the smell, i dont miss much about my home county but that brings back fond memories
