Need advice
Hi ppl
Our new pup was born yesterday .She is a white staffy but she has a pink nose ...will her nose turn black in time? I was always told to avoid buying a white dog with a pink nose ...can anyone give me some advice on the matter ?

im not 100 percent sure but il chip in..i think they might be more prone to skin problems- be more aware of them in the sun.
i dont have a clue if it changes colour though

I've just had a little look in too it and its possible her nose colour may change but it may stay the same from what I can gather

Yes, it can change colour as the pup's pigment develops. I take it the pup isn't albino?

Pigment in puppies is very weak, and strengthens as the pup gets older. My boy, Dempsey had an almost completely pink nose when he was born, but it had turned totally black by the time he was 4 or 5 months old.
Some completely fill in, others stay patchy!

Does she have any other black pigment (Little spots)? You will find that black pigment in the skin increases a lot with age. She will most likely get more. Be aware that white dogs with low black pigmentation are more likely to be partially or completely deaf. I would test this before you bring her home!

Good point - it might be wise to have her hearing tested.
