ARGHHH I MUST BE MAD!
Ok so at the end of april my fella and i have agreed to look after a friends staffie Poppy for 2 days and 2 nights. She's only 1 and Tiny's not long turned 2. I'm slightly concerned because although Tiny gets on great with poppy they are always hyper around each other and want to constantly play and i'm not 100 per cent sure i can cope with two hyper staffs 24/7. Can anyone out there that has 2 or more staffies give me any advice or reassurance please?

If they get on you should be fine and yes they probably will be hyper!! I wouldn't leave them alone together, more for the sake of your house, and because although Poppy and Tiny get on Tiny may dominat whilst in the house. I've only ever owned one though.

I'd make sure you have somewhere you can put them both, seperately in case things get too much, or they start to squabble. Are either of them crate trained?
Otherwise, good luck - rather you than me!

Re: ARGHHH I MUST BE MAD!
I'd love it!! I want to get a bitch when my boy is a little older, he loves playing with other dogs and I think he'd really benefit fro having a girlfriend. (Platonic friendship of course!!)

Re: ARGHHH I MUST BE MAD!
We have 6 and have very few problems (touch wood) they can be a handfull especially when you come in from work and they all want your attention, but on the whole they get on well together ,play very well together in the garden and tend to not mind sleeping together ,when we are out 4 go in cages which they have no problem with and the older 2 are in seperate rooms with a dog gate between ,walks are tiring at times as we try to take them in no more than pairs ,so 3 times the distance.
A big benefit would be to take your first dog to a dog training school before getting another so that they get really used to having dogs in close proximity ,all ours go and at £1 a class it's well worth it.

Re: ARGHHH I MUST BE MAD!
Hi - i have a 3 year old female staff who moved in with her Dad (my bf) a year ago, we were so happy ecided to rescue a tiny staffX from the RSPCA last week - and oh my our worlds are upside down!!
I have had pups before but nothing prepared me for 'Bob'!! I was wondering if you could offer advice on play fighting/socialising - they are constantly rolling around fighting and our older one is really good teaching him the ropes but sometimes it gets full on and i don't know whether to intervene or leave them to it? also should i try and limit the time they playfight? Bob is only 11 weeks so can't burn him out on walks and even tho Bubs puts him in his place he comes back again and again and again!!
As i type she is dragging him around hte living room by his scruff....he just seems to take it and fly back at her!
