Paddling pool
I filled the paddling pool up yesterday for frankie. Put some of his favourite toys in there and waited for the fun commence. Frankie loves splashing and paddling so thought he would love it. How wrong was I?! It seems he thinks its a giant water bowl!! I don't know if he thinks he has to drink all the water to get the toys... A few months ago the OH threw frankie a bit of popcorn chicken and it landed in his water bowl, instead of getting it out he drank all the water first and then got it!! I don't think I'll ever know what goes on in his head!

Re: Paddling pool
Go and dip your toes in and he may get the idea from you. Have a bit of a splash about to encourage him what to do

Re: Paddling pool
I tried all of that and he looked at me like I was mad!!! The closest he got was leaning over the edge with a paw in the air to grab a ball he could reach. I'm sure he thinks I've lost the plot! I will keep encouraging him coz I know he would love it once he got in and started playing!

Re: Paddling pool
I had the same thought Mandy, Shéara's a right little water baby so a paddling pool would be ideal right?! Hmm not quite.
Its taken him a good 48 hours overall to finally get in after a lot of bribing and playing and paddling myself!

Re: Paddling pool
He now loves it!! I've filled it right up and for some reason he likes it now there's more water in it!! He doesn't stay in it for long but keeps running in the garden to have a splash!
