can anyone help
Ive recently rescued a 3 year old male staffy poor thing was in awful condition but hes on the mend , he wont stop humping my friends male staffy cross ive tried pulling him off and tellin him sternly no but he keeps going back for more even if my friends dog growls and snaps at him, ive tried removing him from the situation but he still carrys on .. any advice would be greatly appreciated

You need to stop the behavior before he does it, read the signals and learn a firm no sit/wait/watch command. Its not going to happen over night but try treats to aid with training.

This behaviour is normally a dominant thing. Does your pooch act the same when on neutral ground? It will take time to stop this behaviour, yummy treats will help.

As Janey says, you need to learn to read your dog's body language & step in before he actually does it!
A strong "Leave" or "Come" will help, so maybe work on those as well.

I have tried to stop him before he does it sometimes he listens sometimes he doesnt, ive also tried letting him get it out of his system that didnt work .. and yes its the same on neutral ground , my home and my friends home .. thankyou everyone for your replies

keep him on lead so if he starts the behaviour you can safely remove him and keep him away
