Why does Vinnies one rib stick out on one side and not the other? it is quite prominent but doesn't cause him any discomfort.

This is common in horses. They use one side more than the other so its more muscled. It would be common in a dog with spinning issues, or if he walks around the garden one way more.

Has it always been like that Inez? My friends dog had the same thing and the vet said as the last rib is free floating that it can protrude like that, if its not causing any discomfort I wouldn't worry, maybe just a quick call to the vet to put your mind at ease if anything Smile

Thanks Hayley puts my mind at rest as it doesn't seem to cause any discomfort at all.
