EZY DOG Neo wide
ok so i got bruno the full ezy dog set with the quick fit harness, neo wide collar and vario 4 lead, he had been wearing the collar for 3 days when i took him for a bath last night i noticed he had like a red rash on is neck, bruno has a white patch that goes down his neck and chest so it was very visable, iv took the collar off now to see if it goes down,
does anyone have any ideas what this could be

Re: EZY DOG Neo wide
Ive not had this problem & I use the ezydog products, darcy doesn't were her collar all the time only when we go out if the rash is looking very sore you could pop a little sudocrem on to calm it down

The collars can rub, Lola is bald on the underside of her neck where the collar goes as she has sensitive skin He might be allergic to it if he has a rash.

Rocky only has his collar on when we are our on walks, are you able to try leaving it off for a while to see how this goes ??

Re: EZY DOG Neo wide
well im not to sure if its a rash or just very red if im honest, im at work at presant so cant check, i have had it left off since last night when i noticed it, before i got the ezydog collar he had a smaller one but that never caused any problems, he wore it 24 hours a day...i like to keep a collar on him as i have a young child and need to be able to grab hold of something if needed..

Re: EZY DOG Neo wide
Chiquito has all ezydog gear and sensitive skin - have never had a problem with them, however all dogs are different!
I will say that the collar was VERY stiff when he first got it and I actually spent quite a bit of time playing with it to soften it up some before I put it on him because I was concerned it would rub.
Also, have you considered whether it is possible something was on/under the collar? (Chiquito will get a rub rash (redness) under his harness if we gets wet/sandy under the harness and it continues to rub as he moves for example)

Are you able to get hold of some Aqueous Cream, this is also great stuff for healing anything. Rocky had some insect bites on his legs recently, put a dab of Aqueous Cream on them and they were gone in no time. It should be available in any good chemist.

Re: EZY DOG Neo wide
I bought Densil an ezydog collar and as you say I noticed it was very wide and stiff. also he kept shaking his head when wearing it so I don't think he liked it, so I removed it and put his old one back on. He wears his collar at all times as his id disc is attached. Good idea about washing it - will give it a try to see if it softens it up.
