Zelda
Here is her official link
http://www.rspca.org.uk/allaboutanimals/rehoming/petsearch/details/-/Pet/ZELDA/ref/89009/rehome/
My opinion. One of my all time favs. SOO loving, a real cuddle bug. I don't know what she had been through before coming to us at RSPCA South Godstone (where I volunteer), but to start with she hated kennel life, and would crawl towards you, then snuggle into your lap. She has gained in confidence now and would be the best pet anyone could ask for.
I have a LOADS of videos and photos of her, here is one
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPxDM0GDxMU
Like I say, she has gained in confidence since the video. Still my all time love!
Re: Zelda
Zelda is on reserve. Good luck to my beautiful girl. She has met the potential adopters existing dog and they got on great, so fingers crossed.

Lets hope the future is bright for Zelda

Re: Zelda
Zelda has been returned to RSPCA South Godstone. She attacked their existing dog 3 times (once over food, but the other 2 times unprovoked). Her and the other dog were both pretty badly hurt in the last fight. Her adopters are devastated, they really tried, and the lady cried her eyes out when she returned Zelda, as she knows what it could mean.
This was Zelda second re-home, to be returned again is not good.
The staff are very willing to try, and try find a suitable home for Zelda, with people she is a loving attentive dog, but fingers crossed. because 2 returns, 1 after a very bad fight are not good. The RSPCA do not have infinite resources and if they feel a dog is a danger to other dogs and cannot be re homed, she will be put to sleep.
I am so cross with whoever didn't raise her right in the beginning (she was rescued from a drug den) and gave her such a bad start. I am just livid at all the vile low lifes who mess these dogs up!
she has such potential to give love and be a lovely pet, such a shame
I'm so depressed about all those dogs sleeping alone in kennels every night, going mad and feeling alone

Thank you
Thank you for caring lovely people. Sometimes it is very hard volunteering at at rescue center. I shall never forget her and the others who never really had a chance. So much cruelty both thoughtless and intentional in this country. It makes me despair

Must be so very hard a job but I take my hat off to people like yourselves. And you are right the cruelty and thoughtlessness in this country is beyond belief xxHazel wrote:Thank you for caring lovely people. Sometimes it is very hard volunteering at at rescue center.
