Densil doesn't want his walk this morning
Densil is behaving a bit odd this morning. Normally he is raring to go for his morning walk unless it is raining. It is a bit grey out there but the sun keeps coming out and he has been out in the garden twice. he's eaten his breakfast as normal, but when I got his harness and said "walkies" he just looked at me and went back to bed, where he is now, snoring his head off. He has been on the zylkene for 3 days now, but it distinctly says this does not cause drowsiness. Also he had his normal worm tablets yesterday - Drontal. Anyway, just keeping an eye on him as this is so out of character.

Perhaps he's just feeling a little under the weather, best to be watchful like you said & if he doesn't improve might be best to pop him the vets keep us updated

Re: Densil doesn't want his walk this morning
Seems ok. He has slept all morning, woke up and had a couple of biscuits at lunchtime, then another sleep. Managed to get him out for a walk at about 2pm as normal, so he has just missed his 45 minute morning walk. He has had his dinner and gone back to sleep again - just seems tired for some reason, but has had a playtime and not lost his appetite - no d & v, so don't think it's anything to worry about.

Poor Densil, Vinnie has been a little odd the last few days but it has been extremely humid and oppressing weather here so that's why I think. Hope he is back to himself soon:D

He just went to the vets on Thursday for his zylkene and worm tabs and checked out ok. I just think he is a bit tired as I remember he was barking at 3 o clock in the morning so perhaps he had a bad night. Should be back to normal tomorrow.

Hopefully Densil will be his normal self tomorrow. We all have our "off" days and I don't suppose dogs are any different. It's worrying for us because they can't tell us that they just feel like having a duvet-day. Happy Monday Densil

I took frankie for a walk the other morning and 5 minutes in he refused to walk any further! Then he marched home for his breakfast!! I think sometimes they just want a rest day. Hope he is ok.
