Just because he's cute!

He was trying to decide whether it was worth getting up or not to chase the cat. In the end he decided it wasn't and went back to sleep!
I have two cats and, though they are still rather disgusted by this intruder, the Siamese is starting to think of Charlie as a play thing. Last night he crept up to a sleeping Charlie, slapped him around the nose twice, then skipped away with his most tempting "chase me!" body language. When Charlie didn't he came back and did it again!

You can tell by the clumps of soft-toy innards that Charlie has adopted that chair.
