I completely cursed myself by posting once that we hadn’t had too much damaged caused by our dogs. Well I stand here today corrected. Apparently Emma is coming out of her shell and the nice weather isn't helping. We do all that we can to prevent the damage (even got a checklist on the door) but still everyday those 4 little trouble makers find something! at wits end Emma seems to be the guilty one each time but we can’t be sure because of course they are perfect when we are awake at home. I’m not too bothered by the destruction….yet…(more of a pain in the butt) ….but I do want to know which one did it. Yesterday I woke up to a skeen of yarn I had forgotten about in the yard Sad unravelled through out the yard and house, it was all over. I can only imagine the fun they had, but I won't let that happened again. That could have been disaterous for all involved.

Has anyone any experience with spying on their dogs? I have a few ideas but not sure which method to use. It would be nice to log into the computer and view the house or yard throughout the day. thinking Also I don't want to break the bank with this idea.

with the webcam, what program do you use for remote viewing? I'm not very savy with this sort of thing.

i would like to set it up to view part of the yard and patio (not sure if a simple webcam would produce a clear image). I would like to be able to watch them from my laptop at my office during the day. It would be really cool if I could record them during the night in the house too.

Apparently there is a way to do it, but its pretty expensive, cos you have to link the camera to a router and connect it to your wifi, then buy the program to run the software that sends the footage. Its called an IP camera apparently. But its pretty cool, once its setup you can access the camera from anywhere in the world with an internet connection!
