jake not very well
jake had op tibial crest transposition about 4/5 weeks ago been ok up untill now.
last 36 hrs been crying all time he also had an anal rupture but dunt seem owt like that he seems really week i.e won't jump on settee where usually can't get him off, his left side feels week and when stroking him usually gives way on that side.
anyone got any ideas? can't phone vets while 2mora, he seems to have been in wars since he was a pup

Poor little guy.
If you're that worried, and he really isn't himself, then I'd try phoning an emergency out-of-hours vet & just ask advice.

Sounds like he needs to get to a vet fast !
For a Staffy to be crying a lot there must be something serious - staffys have a high tolerance of pain.
Plz get him seen by Emergency vet - let us know how he gets on x

been to vets can't find owt serious gave him some strong painkillers brought him home seems worse but got to take him back 2mora

he's just stood up now with his back legs looking like he's gunna collapse and moaning loud constantly and doesn't want to know noone dunt look good

been 3 hrs ago thought morphine or other jabs they give him would of kicked in by now his tongue is out a little bit all time won't eat or drink, he's a nervous traveller so vets 18 miles away he changed by time we got there this aft and soon as we got home he gets worse

I think you should phone the emergency vets for advice, let them know how he's acting. The might know why he's doing it.

phoned they said might have an allergic reactions to one of the painkillers but one of them was a long lasting one says looks like we in for a noisy night if he aint better in a few hours we might take him back for a sedation but i dunt wanna do that

just been to vets can't suss it out saying maybe blood clot to brain gave us some diazy's to see if he can calm down but how do you give em tablets when they not eating, poor lad must be starving gave him a bit of ham with tablet in nearly took my hand off at least he has had a bit of food, was gunna give him steroids but one of the painkillers they give him y/day is still active got to go back 2mora.
hope the active painkiller is the one reacting so when it wares off might be better.

got mother at hospital in morning, son at docs 2night i've got tonsillitus and then dog back to vets 2mora who says life is dull lol

thanks we'll be fine we can be treat but poor dog can't tell us what he's going through had his tablet think he might sleep now hopefully

here's hoping
took jake y/day really bad thought it was his last day vet gave him some steroids think it's something with his brain, took him home this morn 7-30 head still down put his harness on at 9-30 to take to vets really perked up. so vet gave him some more steroids which have knocked him back a bit and some tablets, to go back in a week unless he gets worse. they think it could of been swelling on brain because he would yelp even when u wasn't touching him but hope the steroids have taken it down and it dunt come back
