Debo update.
My OH spent all day with Debo while I was at work worrying. I kept thinking that it looks bit strange for alergy. I asked my OH to call another vet,she said it doesn't sound like a sting, adviced to give him painkiller for few days and specially with the 12hrs patern it should go away. Back to our vet,she cheked him all over again. And said same thing. And said if we are really worried we could do xray. No attack so far. The attacks were really strange. He got very stiff, big neck, very clingy and walked very carefull. It seemed like he had problem to lay down on his tummy, when moved him on his side he was fine. When we or the vet did the check up,press really hard, he didn't react. And she was moving his head in every direction. And nothing. So for now armed with painkillers,we are waiting till Monday.

Re: Debo update.
Poor Debo. I hope it sorts itself out.
Hopefully it was just a knock - like whiplash - and it'll fade on its own.

Re: Debo update.
Poor Debo I hope he recovers very soon.
Sometimes with an injury such as whiplash the muscles surrounding it will go in to spasm
and this is extremely painful. This can happen by even the slighted movement. Believe me I know from personal experience

Re: Debo update.
Thank you everyone. Last night was a good night. Just have to remind my OH not to play with him ruff for a while. Because Debo seems fine doesn't mean that he's really fine. Debo really missed that kind of game,he even brings my OH the rope. My sweet boy.

Re: Debo update.
Just to be sure we called specialist in dogs injuries, recommended by couple of friends and she said same thing as our vet. So for a week we have to keep it easy with Debo,no ball,no rope,no play with dogs. It's gonna be hard week. .
