- note the laugh is with you not at you as I am a man and can appreciate the sentiment behind that comment . Hope you're feeling better soon . Only ever seen the results of one when my mate had it done and was walking like John Wayne with black and blue bits that made me feel sick when he kindly decided to show us all in the pub.
None the less for me though , Tommy will be getting his conkers removed in 10 months unless he stops leaving his man fluids everywhere , humping my little girl and generally being a little more rowdy. I have explained this to him so we will see how clever he really is

Re: Vasectomy
The though of having another child was enough for me to man up, I am not good with pain and being on the most sensitive part of the body was worse.
I am walking like John Wayne atm, I am just glad I am not back in work until Wednesday.

Re: Vasectomy
oh poor Jay, I know every man is wincing with you, but you've been a big brave boy - well done!
but as Kathy says - it could have been worse if you were a woman, even tubal ligation is not a thing you spring back lightly from, with a merry smile !
I felt just terrible when I had Kuchar's conkers removed last month and swore then that if I had another male dog I would leave his bits alone - he made such a fuss, much more so than the bitches I had previously who had total hysterectomies, and I felt so sorry for him.
BUT - he got over it, and the pluses have been, as dave mentioned - no more man fluids over every surface he touched, his lipstick is much less in evidence at every opportunity, he hasn't tried to hump anything since, he shows much less interest in other dogs' genitalia, he even doesn't try to mark every vertical surface he comes across (although he will some, obviously), and although he is still mischeevious and a little b****r at times, he is less
frantic than he was and I'm glad I put him through it.
just sit on your rubber ring for a few days Jay, and be glad you don't have to wear a lampshade round your head to stop you licking your bits!

Re: Vasectomy
Lol no rubber ring here, just an invisible force field that keeps kids and dogs away.

Re: Vasectomy
ah, try sitting on a rubber ring (like kids have to keep them afloat). I had several friends who did what you did and they very discreetly put these things on their chairs in the office (we were all very gallant and "didn't notice")
