Getting there...
Skibadee has been DA nearly all her life and I have tried with little sucess to sort her behaviour out! I had managed to get her to the stage where she will tolerate other dogs, will not lunge or snap at them but cannot really be trusted.
My OH has been working with her while ive been at work and we have been gradually introducing her to lots of new dogs, or even just keeping her on-lead and letting her watch other dogs playing/laying near to her etc.
Well we have had two huge triumphs recently! On Saturday me and my man went down to our local park (about 6 acres of flat grass) and bumped into an old friend of mine and his 3 male staffords. Let Tali and Meg run about and play with them but was worried about Skibadee so kept her on-lead until my friend encouraged me to let her off. So glad I did because they were all fantastic together, no jelously, no growling, no snapping just lots of sniffing and running! So proud of her, think she has lost most of her nerves around other dogs now.
Then last night we walked in the same place and bumped into someone else we know who has an staff x pit called Blaze with a curly tail like a piggy! Skibadee didnt seem at all bothered (she has met him before but not since he was a pup) so let her off, after he tried to sniff her bum and got a grumble the four dogs spent an hour and a half running, chewing a tree branch and barking. They had a great time, jsut so proud of Skibadee. A year ago I could never have let her off to do her own thing without risk she might react badly to an over-exuberent dog or one sniffing her behind!

Nice one!!!!
Thats what im hoping to do next with Blue. So made up for you. They can have so much more fun when they are good with other dogs.

Maybe you could take duke and help me. To see him when he was in the show ring cool as a cucumber. I could never let him off he would just attack there isnt any warning with him he just gets in there

Re: Getting there...
Im no photographer either, I'm useless with a camera.
If it wasn't for crimewatch or rogue traders I wouldn't have any good pics of myself
