how big was your staffy at 5 months?

i'm a new staffy owner and I was wondering if my girl is normal size. she is 23 weeks old and 14.5 inches to the shoulder and weight around 30 pounds. she was found as a stray so I have no idea what her parents looked like butthe vet seems confident that she is a staffy.

At 5 months Bart was 14 inches and 25 pounds.

Hi and welcome to the forum from me and Gwen! All pups grow at different rates! Gwen is just about to be 24 weeks/ 6 months, she is about 14 inches at the shoulder and weighs 32 pounds! Do you have any pictures? If you do please upload them so we can see her!!

Taco was 16 weeks on Friday and currently weighs approximately 7/8kg. He won't stay still long enough to get measured just now but he's probably 25cm at the withers? I think this puts him on the small side but any time we see the vets or anyone from puppy pre school all they can comment on is how much he's grown, so I'm not overly concerned. He met my aunty and uncle who are both vets over the weekend and neither of them mentioned his size either way.
I think that pups are a bit like people in that they all grow at different rates and your girl certainly doesn't sound undersized to me.

sorry about the poor quality. poor camera, excited puppy..
and I am not sure about her weight she was weighed 2-3 weeks prior to this photo and was 25 pounds but she has bulked up a lot through lots of exersize!

and she has a skin condition which we are treating so she is a bit bald

Shes adorable! Looks 100 % stafford, tbh shes just a chunky monkey. Looks the right weight/weight ratio. Don't worry she is fine!
