great north dog walk
Sure there was a post somewhere but can't find it at the moment...
Anyway is anyone going to the event on Sunday?
Looks like I may have comandeered my parents caravan for the weekend so in the process of finding a dog friendly campsite somwhere between north York's and south shields. If anyone has any recomendations of a cheap and cheerful place (near main roads as its my first time towing) it would be much appreciated

Re: great north dog walk
Great stuff , would love to have been coming up myself but not sure if we can make it (Didnt realise it was as close as next week), but we are now in family discussion about it as my Auntie is poorly in Co. Durham at the moment so would be great to get up and see her
Towing's easy Jules , just make sure its loaded correctly (with advice from your Dad) and take it nice and steady. It's the going backwards bit that is the difficult part . I did it for 3 years
If your Dad is a Caravan Club Member , there is a great basic site at Durham literally just off the Motorway at the A690

I've not got any sponsors was never sure if I could go
Just been checking out the caravan club website and lots of useful info that can be googled if needed possibly swaying to finding a site around York/Harrogate to break up the travelling

Re: great north dog walk
We were all prepared to go then Shéara was up the night before being sick quite a lot, then sick again after a mini walk before we were to set off so we decided not to go. I think he was struggling with the heat.
Sounds like a really good day, maybe next year!
I was looking forward to some piks mind
